Well, time for some crow. Conrad and I went through all the numbers, and economically, you are no worse buying the gas Highlander vs the hybrid. Even at gas prices where they are, it takes the lifetime of the vehicle to make up the difference in cost. That said, the environmental bennifit of the hybrid is big, i.e. less dependence on foreign oil, and greatly reduce air pollution and global warming pollution. So I eat my crow. Enough of that. The pictures are awesome. The trip looks fabulous. Keep writing and keep having fun. Elmo, be glad he didn't try and quit smokeing or dipping right before you left! Just kidding.
